Timor-Leste, or East Timor, occupies half the island of Timor in Southeast Asia. The country is ringed by coral reefs teeming with marine life. However, Timor-Leste does not have a commercial fishing fleet.
The Dili Sea Port is the largest commercial port in Timor-Leste. The site was originally chosen because of a reef along the perimeter, which provides natural protection. While the port is quite small, there are planned improvements in place to better streamline operations.
